... and here we go again !!!!

With effect from Tuesday 1st April 2003 it’s all happening at Fowey Community Leisure Centre! There’s an open day and evening full of new activities for all the family whether that be a whole new exercise to music programme, activities for the kids or specific classes focussing on weight loss, back care or general lifestyle activity.

…and there’s some new faces on the team too and some old faces but dressed in a new uniform!

…and why? Because the Community College are managing the Leisure Centre directly rather than in partnership with “Leisure Connection” who have managed the Centre on the College’s behalf for the past three years.

These promise to be exciting times for the College and Leisure Centre and, perhaps more importantly, for the community as a whole.

The new programmes to be introduced from 1st April promise to be varied and offer activities to suit all ages and interests. The Centre will have qualified staff in the gym at all times, on hand to offer advice and to write specific programmes for individuals.

Our aim is for the Leisure Centre to become a real hub of the community! Which puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.

So…come along on 1st April to see what it’s all about! There’ll be a range of activities and new classes to see and to try (so come dressed to have a go!!) from 5.30pm (although we’ll be pleased to see you at any time during the day) and…there’s a fantastic membership offer too.
