This piece of equipment has many uses. It can be used to tone and strengthen your muscles as well as to stretch and relax your body. An instructor will be able to demonstrate the many uses of the stability ball.
The rowing machine is an all over body workout for legs and arms.You can adapt it to lower strokes per minute (spm) which will then create more of an upper body workout with the legs as well.
The treadmill is an excellent piece of cardiovascular equipment that can be used to raise the heart rate and push the body to its limits.
You can make the programme more intense by increasing the speed and incline, maximising your workout, and with the heart rate monitors you can see how hard you're working.
The recumbent bike is a piece of equipment that focuses on the lower body, working mainly the bum and legs.
The upright bike is a piece of equipment that focuses on the lower body, working mainly the thighs and calf muscles.
A seated leg curl which works the hamstring muscles. (Back of thighs)
This exercise works the chest muscles.
Select the weight before stepping on to the platform. The chin dip machine is an upper body workout.
This is a fixed weight peice of equipment that works the latisimus dorsi and bicep muscles.
The seated leg extension works the quadriceps. (Front thighs)
The cross trainer is an excellent piece of cardio vascular equipment that works the whole body.
Forward direction works the bottom, hamstrings and hip flexors.
Backward lower body works the quadriceps and calves.
Pushing arms (upper body) works the triceps, pectorals and front deltoids.
Pulling arms (upper body) works the biceps, rear deltoids, back muscles and lats.
